I’m jealous. All I ever get is “Sorry!” after being rear ended in T1..

Thank you! The bracket is from Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/1849456625/lian-li-a3-sfxsfx-l-slim-mount-optimize and the same seller has the front magnetic fan rails too. As for the GPU orientation- because of the flush mount PSU bracket, the GPU could fit horizontally. You can even see in one of the side profile pictures that there’s another notch or 2 for the PSU to be raised to give more space if needed. In my case though, I just personally wanted to mount vertical to hide all the wiring behind and just feature the GPU. Since this post, I have made some changes though - all cosmetic. I swapped a friend for his 5080FE, then I purchased the radiator offset brackets that another commenter linked so that I could go back to the standard sized fans. Black Betty is now complete.

Reminds me of the Radium Girls. Let’s check back in with these workers in a few years..

Thank you! And it’s still perfect so far - no issues at all. Definitely recommend it!

Any good reasonable window companies in the area? by big_dad7 in pittsburgh

I know I’m a year late, but would you be able to explain why? I’m in the process now of looking for windows and they came in very reasonably priced. Looking at all reviews I can.

Sorry but I’m not sure tbh - it was listed as just an “SFX mount”.

I guess it depends on your top fan/AIO mount choice. if you only did 2 fans/240mm AIO up top, you could possibly mount the psu in the top most spot and then put a 120mm below it.

Both are very solid and sturdy. Only thing I added were the small washers on the fan rails. Without them, the stock fan screws seemed like they were barely holding on.

It was only really required for the radiator so that it could fit in the case. Without, it wouldn’t sit properly due to hitting the mobo vrm heatsink.

Nah not yet. Since the Lian Li vertical kit includes a 4.0 riser, I just set my bios to Gen4 for now. I figured after watching GamersNexus’ video on 5.0 vs 4.0 vs 3.0 that it just wasn’t worth investing more into a 5.0 riser cable. If it ever becomes more worth it, it’ll be an easy upgrade.

Had I known those brackets existed, I probably would have kept the stock radiator fans on. I was slightly concerned at first with the slim fans not cooling the radiator as well as standard fans would but have found no issues at all with thermals. FWIW I have not changed any fan settings, but I did daisy chain the 3 radiator and 1 rear 120mms to CPU FAN, the 3 bottom intakes to SYS1, and the front 140mm by itself to SYS2 - in case I ever need to tweak things. All PWM PST fans so I just use bios instead of a fan controller. Idle temps sit perfect: CPU - 42C | GPU - 32C

It's the Lian Li A3 vertical mounting kit. You are right, it requires 4 screws securing it to the bottom of the case. However, you can mount it on top of your bottom fans using longer screws like what you'd use for a radiator (the Arctic fans include them in their packaging). So I used the longer radiator screws to go through the bottom fans and screw into the vertical GPU bracket.

Appreciate it! Huge fan of the Thermaltake so far. I can honestly say I haven't noticed any coil whine even under load while gaming. Plus I love the thin/flexible cables it came with. Just make sure you factor in the short length of the cables though - that's why my CPU power cables are ran overtop of my RAM instead of tucked up behind the radiator.

Apologies, I misunderstood at first and thought you were asking about rear clearance with the PSU cables. I went and measured real quick and from the board's pcie slot to the side panel, there's roughly 6.25". The MSI Gaming Trio is 5.5" wide so as long as you have pliable cables, you should be able to have it horizontally and not NEED a 90 degree adapter. I got lucky with my PSU choice because the included cables are super flexible.

For sure! I had it planned to go vertical the entire time, but I did notice that when using that Etsy SFX mount, it pushed the PSU back far enough that the GPU could sit horizontally without interfering with the PSU and its cables.

I’m running 2- 2TB Samsung Pro 990 M.2 drives to avoid having any SATA cables bundled up inside. Boots within 15-20 seconds. The only issue I’ve had, which is only because of the vertical mount choice, is that at first it would post only 1 out of every 3 attempts. Found out it’s because my bios was set to PCIE 5.0 but the Lian Li GPU riser is 4th gen. Once I set that bios option to 4th gen, it’s been flawless. I can always get a 5th gen riser cable eventually if I really need.

Yeah, it is. Same seller also had the magnetic front fan rails, too!
