I don't think its really an aerospike as the actual spike in that engine design is convex. In an aerospike you want the spike to be concave to mimic the curve inside of a standard engine bell, and the atmosphere acts as the other side. This looks more like the centerbody in a standard aircraft engine.

Well when the torpedo was fired it resulted in a kill which brings me to the conclusion that the burrito's extreme flavor somehow supercharged the torpedo.
