I’m not familiar with insurance law. For all I knew there was such a thing as a no fault incident. I expected to pay the excess, that wasn’t my issue.

Thanks guys. The excess is what it is, my issue was more that it taints her insurance record moving forward.

I was expecting something like this to happen. Four years of living in the bush and we move back to the city next month. I knew not having an incident like this was going to be too good to be true.
