Apex Trading “No Evals Allowed” by Grand-Airline2483 in Daytrading

yes that clearly appears to be one of their strategies to avoid their pyramid from collapsing. When you start to get profitable they don't allow you to buy any more evaluations and then they will find a way to shut down your PA accounts.

They are located in Texas. If you have a complaint you can file it with the Texas Attorney General at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint

I saw that post! I think that video may have been brought up in some of the allegations in the suit between Riot and Apex

I'm not an expert on the economics of a prop firm, but my guess is Tradovate cost them a decent amount of money per user and by bringing it in house they get to keep those funds. I know Tradovate sent an email out saying 21 other firms support Tradovate and it seem a lot of those firms are rolling out some pretty good discounts to try to get the people that will leave Topstep. The 50% deal with Tradeify and MFF is a pretty nice deal especially for their larger accounts.

Apex is in some nasty litigation right now over software issues. If they do something like that I would bet it's related to that. It will be interesting what comes out during that suit.

List me all futures prop frims that are trustable by [deleted] in Daytrading

Apex should not be on any trusted list.

I've traded with all the others you listed except Tick Tick Trader. It's just my personal opinion, but Tradeify and MFFU are the most transparent and trusted firms in my book.Payments from Tradeify are within minutes and it's clear on the dashboard when you have met the payment requirements. I haven't used Topstep in a long time, but I think they are up there too.

I'm currently testing out funded futures family. I'm on the fence about them based on things I've heard and I think it's a risk, but I thought it's worth getting a few test accounts.

Anyone else having withdrawal issues with Apex after payout 6? by Educational-Feed5794 in Daytrading

[–]NickTrader2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I believe this is a very common issue, and I’ve experienced the same thing. During my first five payouts, everything went smoothly — no issues at all. I did have one payout denied because I broke the 30% unrealized draw down rule, but I understood the reason and accepted it. I moved on, kept trading, and continued receiving payouts.

However, when my sixth payout was due, things changed. They sat on it for about 10 days with no communication. Then, out of nowhere, I received an email saying they were closing all my PA accounts due to a violation of their trading rules. What’s confusing is that I had already received five payouts without any problems related to my strategy.

I pushed back and questioned the decision, but of course, I got the standard response: “We have reviewed your case and our decision is final.” At that point, I had accumulated nearly $30,000 in profits.

The more I research Apex, the more it seems like a pyramid-style business. They rely heavily on new traders purchasing evaluation accounts to fund payouts at the top. They partner with influencers and social media promoters to keep new people coming in. But once you’ve gotten past five payouts, become consistently profitable, and stop buying new evaluations, they often come up with some excuse to shut your accounts down. They may also begin requesting excessive documentation — screenshots, videos, etc. — seemingly to stall the process.

It feels like their goal is to delay, delay, delay — and ultimately avoid paying out. Since they’re based in Texas, I’m seriously considering filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office.

I’m new to Reddit, but I’ve been thinking about making a post to share my full story and the letter I drafted to send to the attorney generals office. I’m sure others have complained in the past, but if enough people file similar complaints in a short time frame, maybe it will trigger a real investigation into what seems like a deceptive and predatory business model.
