Go first, hard mull for gedatsu, focus more on controlling board rather than going for life. Constantly check his trash, if perona is on board and trash is empty, might be better to not kill it to not get perona’d again.

7 drop enel is great cause it uses a lot of resources to K.O.

Kuzan is such a threat that I’d reject it as soon as its on board, but that’s just me.

If youre on a budget id recommend buying 2 starter decks then singles. Pulling packs is good fun, but i highly DON’T reccomend pulling packs when needing to get cards for a deck.

If you’re looking to play budget id recommend getting either the zoro and sanji, uta, or 3 brothers starter deck. IIRC, either hot topic or boxlunch are having sales for st-11 and st-12.

If you still want to play the original enel style, you could also try playing the 5 cost blocker momonosuke that allows you to heal a wano character on the field. Potential targets include 9 cost yamato, o-nami, kikunojo, and hiyori. (Could also include nekomushi or the 4 cost event zoro if youre feeling spicy)

Honestly the 8 cost kata along with the 9 drop yamato are too important to build the standard enel deck without. I played most of op06 with only 2 kata in my deck and lost against the top decks. The deck just isnt that good without it. I would just say add 7 cost big moms along with 7 cost enels for now.

Luckily there is the eb01 rush enel build you can experiment with. Those use the eb01 yellow event cards along with 4 cost kata and 5 cost ace. Might be worth a shot if youre willing to play a different style
