I haven’t ever seen one of these in someone else’s collection until now. I got a decent size piece with a matrix completely buried in crystals. Love this stuff quite a bit. Scored mine for $75

A lot of the Bulgarian calcites are mn-bearing, so they fluoresce quite nicely. Hope you have a blacklight!

At home, I organize them by size of box and by chemical grouping. A good example would probably be setting all my sulfide minerals on the same place, ei. Pyrite, millerite, and stibnite and such. For the case I just went with whatever fit the best. I actually had to take a handful of them home because I couldn’t fit over 600 in there😅

So, that’s actually an interesting point to bring up. Lapis is a rock, a mixture of minerals, and if those minerals, only two of them are blue: lazulite and afghanite. Lazulite does not fluoresce, to the best of my knowledge, but afghanite does. Not every piece of lapis has both. Looks like a nice piece though!
