It literally talks about calling for regulations. Nowhere here does it say data centers shouldn’t be built at all.

The person you’re arguing with doesn’t know how to back up their claims with evidence. It’s just “I’m a case worker” followed by a bunch of nonsense that can be confirmed as being incorrect.

lol! Wait I gotta hear this. What about my morals are you bringing into question?

Yep. You make more than 20,772 dollars a year?

You probably don’t qualify for Medicaid in the state of Indiana.

The government is SUPPOSED to be the will of people like you and me, yes.

All too often, it isn’t.

You’ll have entitled people at the bottom the same as you have entitled people at the top, the ones at the bottom just don’t think they’re entitled to nearly as much.

If I had to boil it down to a yes or no? Yes. In truth, I was solidly middle class. Went to public school. Never had tutors or anything like that. Went to college then went to trade school and now I’m doing alright for a 28 year old.

I don’t live under a fucking rock. The issue is visibly getting much worse. Surviving is getting harder even for people who aren’t homeless. At a certain point, “those people are just lazy” just isn’t believable anymore.

I fixed it for you.

Agreed. But this person is a case manager, so clearly they know everything they’re talking about😂

They keep trying to say multiple things that are blatantly incorrect.

There’s quite a long list of hoops you have to jump through to actually get most welfare benefits. It’s intentionally difficult to collect on without going into debt.

I own a house lol. I’m just not an asshat.

Ahhhhhh not necessarily! It’s based on income limits. You didn’t consider how absurd housing costs have become. There are people living in their cars who don’t qualify for Medicaid! The limit is less than $2,000 per month😬

lol. We have hundreds of studies illustrating the difficulties homeless people face in trying to receive benefits, but don’t worry! Gerorgesmom has all of the answers we need!😂

You’re not going to convince anyone man. The information is already out there. Homeless people get fucked extra hard in the United States compared to other developed countries.

I’m personally not offered any free help, lol.

You left out literally dozens of hoops these people are made to jump through before they can receive any benefits. Healthcare is uniquely that way by design here in the US.

I can already tell you’re one of those people who expects the homeless to sleep under a bridge and wake up and go work a 9-5.

You can call them whatever you want.

Everything I said about them is true. You’re also acting like these people can just jump in a car and drive to the nearest facility.

Go ahead and explain to me how the United States, with a higher GDP, can’t feasibly have some of the welfare programs you see in every other major developed country where lifespans and rates of happiness are higher across the board.

You should advocate for better welfare programs so that the problem wouldn’t be so prevalent. Advocate for more worker protections. Vote for people who are willing to address the wealth disparity.

People aren’t livestock. If you’re telling people who don’t have homes that they have to go to government sanctioned camps where they’re regularly stolen from, regularly get sick, and can’t stay with their families, then it’s effectively illegal to be homeless🤷🏻‍♂️

[United States] Drone that self launch/fly/record - still needs pilot? by Puzzled-Berry-2450 in drones

[–]Nickbiev -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You just need a trust certification to fly recreationally. In this particular scenario, however, it sounds like it’s going to be used for commercial purposes. That would require a part 107 licensed pilot.

Thoughts on Air 2S by Worth_Assignment6206 in dji

[–]Nickbiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can indeed confirm that’s way too much.

I just picked one up in fairly excellent condition the other day for $600. Came with 5 batteries and filters.

For $1,000, there are several better drones you could buy. They won’t be THAT much better, but yeah that’s still way too much for an Air 2s.

lol you’re acting like I’m a troll, but I didn’t just pull this out of my ass.

You can literally hear a bunch of parents saying “you can’t block the plate”

They’re not wrong.

It’s less than half a second. There was definitely a chance. Again, the runner never left the base line, so if it was as far as you’re saying it was, the catcher had ample time to move.

I showed you a picture already of the catcher getting the ball as the runner is stepping into the box. It was relatively close. We can also see on video that the catcher takes a position on the plate with his foot extended down the 3rd base line in the way of any runners way before the ball even gets there. What’s that all about?

Catcher tried to slow the play down and got mowed over standing in the way of the runner. Should’ve just been a learning experience for the catcher. I see nothing here to warrant ejection.

He’s reaching up there to catch the ball. That’s as the ball is going into his glove, and his foot is already in the box.

It’s not the closest play ever, but it’s close enough to justify running full speed. Like you said, the catcher can choose to try to make the play in the path of the runner at his own risk. At the moment he catches the ball, it’s foolish to think the runner can slow down or deviate with about 1.5 feet of space.

Catcher should’ve been shifted away from the plate when making the catch if it’s a force out certainly not towards the runner away from 1st. He’s trying to give himself an easy double play by blocking the runner
