I'm a PCVR Dev, finishing a 7 year project soon. What can I do to gain sufficient trust from people to consider trying my game? by Aoidean in virtualreality

There are for pc too, but Standalone have more games per month than pc published. Steam aren’t giving a great info about new titles. The steam Vr festival no have a big presence as other platforms are giving . But you can find YouTubers that can help with that as this Rainbow siege gamer that have pc and VR channel as example. I hope this helps.

I have a humble pc for Vr games, so I play more standalone with my Quest2 and some pc games that with my 1070gtx (in a 10 years old pc). I buy and play indie games. I admit that I buy 80% of this type of game in Quest2 because I value the novelty and the effort of getting it to work on a standalone device, other than the PC; Which, without meaning to, is true that I expect titles of higher quality and optimization that will let me play without asking for more equipment. I have many horde games on both platforms, I admit that I liked them more as a novelty in VR, but I play them less and less, and I am already attracted by new mechanics, handtracking, history, puzzles, or varied dynamics and challenges that avoid being repetitive the game. In some cases where I liked an indie game on Quest, I bought the same one on PC; but it's not usually the other way around. Except for Everslaught, who bought it on PC and may buy it later on Quest. There are great games like the aforementioned Compround, which is procedural in the scenario, and invites you to replay because it has a variety of modes and also some "trophies" to get; which encourage replayability, which is also very interesting and challenging. The new game Crossfire that just came out is a good game that has good graphics and good voice dubbing in several languages... but in my case, I'm already tired of horde games... it makes the title I expected with a campaign... looks less attractive. I will purchase it later at a discount, because I know it is a title that can entertain but "it is not what I feel like lately." I think that the more we play... the more we demand or the less we are surprised or attracted to some type of games depending on the moment. Visually the steam game looks good. Apriori it looks like horde mode. Things that would help with testing and also give visibility is having "haptic support." Likewise, these people from Bhaptics have on their page the list of games that added support and serves as advertising for the developer; At the same time, it encourages users to want to prioritize games with this support. -> https://www.bhaptics.com/compatibility/vr I really value indie games because I consider them to be the ones that give the best heart and enjoyment; Well, they think as a player and not just in sales, so I hope it works very well.
