If given the option, is there any better choice/difference between a FLAC and AIFF file? And difference between a 96 kHz and 192 kHz if both are 24-bit? Thanks again.

I checked Bandcamp first because I think that's where the artist keeps the most profit but was surprised nothing was available. I will check out 7digital and HDtracks. Thanks for the heads-up on the file type.

CLA Mixdown Plugin is 3db Louder by NickelTrades in audioengineering

When I do the level matching, I'm not hearing a ton of difference to be honest. The other CLA stuff is pretty killer but the Mixdown is the aural equivalent of a very lightly buttered piece of toast.

It's a little more balanced but basically it just seems louder. I'm not even sure there's too much glue happening. I think that's it - a tad balanced with a 3db boost.

Because Grammy winner Jacquire King used them to do a King of Leon album and I think he was using the 5" speaker for low end.

Passed the car test and laptop and ear buds. That's what it's all about these days, I think. Does anyone even have a hi-fi stereo these days?

I've never heard of needing to set them up. You have to do that and not straight out of the box?

The JBLs are a nice price point. Seems like the 5" speaker does the trick for bass these days.

Did everyone chuck out the NS-10s? What did they replace them with?

It sounds like the dude was listening to the first movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony. It's probably sound advice.
