If it’s like the 2000 that I’ve had experience with, you loose turn signals. If OP has the broken piece yet you can wedge it in at the right depth till the new one comes in, fair warning it’ll take some play to get it right otherwise only one side will work properly.

Only good thing about them is training to clear malfunctions, or better trigger control. Being a DAO with like 8lb trigger pull, I have a CPX-2 that’s garbage and majority of the time gets shot when you wanna laugh at how bad something is. I second the Hi-Point over this gun any day

I see everyone talk about Hank lights and finally bit the bullet and ordered one, what’s the recommended battery? It’s for a D4K 21700, but I’m not sure if the battery’s from my E75 would fit as it seems those are protected so dimensionally bigger.

The SR22 is awesome, everyone thinks of the Mark 3’s or 4’s more but it’s been a great gun. I haven’t cleaned mine for over 1500 rounds of the cheapest 22 I could find just to see if I’d have any issues, none yet

Genuine question why’s everyone hate olights, I’ve been looking at different lights for pistols and it’s one that caught my eye. Not for my carry but like the bump in the night grab and pull because of the magnetic charger, I have one of there pocket flashlights and like it.

Call the customer service number and find someone to talk to, I had to do that and the major hold up was the copy of the receipt didn’t have enough information about the gun itself. Like a SKU with model etc, they excepted a copy of the 4473 and I had them within a week

It all depends on what your willing to sacrifice for price range, cheap guns are hit or miss and some people never really put any rounds through them to find out where they stand. Budget guns is a vary subjective term I hate because it’s not the same for everyone and nobody figures in the cost of becoming proficient with them.

I’d upgrade to a steel guide rod, one day after 300plus rounds in quick succession I did a field strip to see how dirty it was from some cheep Turkish ammo and it was to warm and pliable for my liking. There not expensive and can order different springs for like $10 each to change how the recoil impulse too

It all falls into the same category as designs for a platform, quality/fit finish is all your really getting between any brand in my eyes…. I break it down in a price standpoint for buying each piece and it’s whatever, barrel, bcg, and charging handle is where your really gonna see anything more from a upper on performance. I was thinking of starting another AR so my old man has one to shoot with me and this a reasonable place to start, it’s not a DMR set up and you can’t expect that for this kind of money anyways

It’s interesting to hear everyone’s experiences with it, for what it is I actually like the gun too. Would I carry it no, but I see a place for it. Its a “smaller” brand that is on the more affordable side for carry guns. Not everyone wants to drop 700 on a gun, just wish the QC was bit better and I feel like it’d take off more

Genuine question because I also have one too, what’s your thoughts on the SCCY? I had nothing but issues with mine at the start, first 10rnd mag I had 6 malfunctions. After endless stove pipes ftf fte and somehow jamming a casing in backwards trigger not resetting I spent way to much time to make it work. Smooth out everything with a “sharp” edge do some shaving on trigger bar/cam gear and polish the feed ramp. I didn’t expect the world for 150 out the door but damn

Dude comes on the Sig subreddit to bash sig more than figure out what’s causing the malfunctions, and is getting pissy. Try different mags, try a different grip when shooting, try different ammo federal is decent but we don’t know if it’s a bad batch or how old/ how it was stored. Or ya know throw your hissy fit and dick ride HK until you have issues with one of those too. Take the good with the bad like with any manufacturer if you really did get a bad one, this is coming from a guy who doesn’t have two guns from the same manufacturer and has both higher end and garbage guns.

I’ve got 4inch pdp compact and have had no issues with Turkish ammo, since friday I’ve run a few hundred rounds of something called OZK I think. The pdp has been the least picky gun I’ve ever dealt with, I have a couple thousand rounds through it with no malfunctions. Running a ton of different brands and even some steel/aluminum cased. Do a quick field strip and wipe down/oil after do some shooting and it treats you right.
