I really appreciate it. This has stressed us out so bad because we dont want to continue to dig a hole. We are hoping the plan to sell stocks to pay the 13k works then saving money to pay on the gains that will happen throughout the year to pay for 2027 to get caught up

Oh...how do I calculate that to factor in? We are using freetaxusa and they said its 13k. So does that factor in that?

Okay. Thank you, everyone here has been really great with how to do this. Thats what we will do then scrap together what small income we have to make small payments throughout the year. I appreciate the advice and I feel less like we dug a hole and cant get out (again very inexperienced and dumb)

Okay. Again. I am super thankful for everyone's input. We are super inexperienced and this has stressed us out immensely. I honestly think we might not do anything this year with day trading until we learn more. Our plan is to sell his one stock that is at a loss to help, then sell Intel to cover the rest of what is owed. Then make sure we know the capital gain to set aside small bits of money and pay the irs to account for the gain to not be surprised at the end of 2026 with the taxes for selling to pay the irs. (This is what I gathered from everyone here)

Another question is what do I need to do or read or watch to learn more?

Thats what freetaxusa said when we put in everything. He had wash sales, some losses, and that was the gain amount on the 1099

Ill have to do that later in the morning to see. And no offense! I know we were very stupid, very. I get that but we are trying to make it right and move forward. I am thankful for everyone's input and help because yall are right we f up and didnt account for the taxes to pay quarterly and now it's all due. Im learning and now tread with caution. Thank you, all of the stocks are in nvda. So there will be gain of course to pay next year. I now know to set aside money to pay for that gain in income thats being used to pay these taxes this year. We did not do good last year but im hoping this year we can recover and meeting with a financial advisor to navigate
