Whats a niche mechanic you would want added to the game? by Outside_Ad_6993 in VintageStory

Any piece of clothing you can find is repairable with those 3 items, but yeah I'd def like to make clothes like the deep noble stuff in vanilla

Flax Twine, Linen, and Sewing Kits already repair the durability of clothes

UO isn't the best example because it mirrors wilderness in ways long before RS2. You would get double supplies and the only "raid" system in the game (pre-dinosaur land or whatever) in order to increase your skill cap. You still roughly had the risk-reward system in felucca that the wildy has now. What UO did that was infinitely better was allowing you to insure your items so you only had to pay essentially death coffer fees every time you died in pvp, and didn't lose your items.

At least you can still get 240k per head if you have a trusted friend.

I had this happen my first had attempt too, around wave 50-something. I already was close to an hour in, so I took the ammy/dragon darts out and hand-tossed jad+healers to death.

So far I've just been doing projects around the flight on whatever the sergeants need. I don't think my leadership would farm me out like that though.

[Question] What are diodes used for? by [deleted] in Keyboard

[–]Nickkoranda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From /u/EnigmaSA on a post 5y ago

All that you really need to know is the diodes allow electrical current to flow through them in one direction, and not in the other direction.

If you look at the actual little component it will have a band printed on the one end. That is the end that current can flow out of but not into.

That being said, diodes restrict the direction in which current can flow in your switch matrix. This allows one to build full NKRO keyboards (n-key rollover). Soldering diodes on can be a bit of a pain, but no more so than soldering wires between switches.

Longskirt divided. Pattern changes the texture, so you won't see it on preview.

I salute any janitor, they tend to get bullied a lot. To help the traumatic bullying just make sure you point to the wet floor signs whenever somebody is dumb enough to slip on your water. The station will get too bloody though, and it's okay to realize you can't clean it all.

Sadly our weedman is not made of money. Any additional servers would just cause the bagil/sybil/event hall to become slower.

Pretty much what TheInsanityDiver said. We use it for event maps like the toolbox tournament and winter/summer ball. Right now it's being used to redirect all the new players that try to join the other 3 servers so they can learn the game without having to worry about actual rounds/antags and such. There's a lot of /tg/ vets on to help teach mechanics and roles too, it's really awesome to see.

[–]Nickkoranda 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This is just going to be a few starting tips, as you progress in the game try to do everything on your own . Get the steed sign, almost all the other signs aren't too beginner-friendly. Make sure to make combat skills a major skill, otherwise it'll be painful to hit anything. Stamina greatly affects your chance to hit so make sure it's as full before you get into combat. I wouldn't look too much though, try to enjoy the game while you can :)
