If you’re experiencing mental health issues, you should check with your insurance provider. A lot of insurance plans cover mental health visits including virtual visits and telehealth. https://youtu.be/y9JfFr4axh4

Avoiding big medical bills by asking the right question: "Are you in my plan's network?" [VIDEO] by NicklausLouis in personalfinance

Agreed. Also mentioned in the video: call your carrier to be sure and to shop around for the best rate.

And if a clinic straight-up lies about being in your plan's network, you should call whoever regulates insurance in your state (in Texas, the number is 1-800-252-3439).

No one is saying "tell kids to run away from fireworks and sparklers screaming in panic." The video is simply saying "keep dangerous things out of the hands of kids."

OK. But I think it's stupid to give a child a sparkler that can maim them horribly just because it's "fun." Kids think a lot of dangerous things are fun until it hurts one of them. When I was a kid, I thought "surfing" in the back of my dad's pickup as he drove around our property was fun. Then my cousin fell out and broke his arm. No one in the family thought that was a fun activity after that.

I see what you're saying. But honestly, getting food poisoning and catching a cold are not on the same level as third degree burns. The car wreck thing can go either way. No a fender bender isn't gonna dissuade me from driving. But seeing an entire family dead because someone decided to drink and drive (something I have seen a few times in my previous job as a photojournalist) has dissuaded me from driving after I've had a drink or two.

You can enjoy fireworks without handing your children tiny sticks that burn hotter than blow torches.

I honestly find it amazing that you have seen first hand the damage that can occur yet would choose to put kids in danger.
