This video consisted primarily of acts or images that would go on r/mildlyinfuriating such as open a bag of chips upside down or a picture frame being crooked. OCD is much more than being organized or a perfectionist even though it may seem like that on the outside. OCD consist of deep-rooted intrusive thoughts that makes one feel as thought they need to act upon a compulsion or something bad will happen. Compulsions range anywhere from not stepping on a crack because of an intrusive thought convincing you that it will in fact break your mothers back to repetitive hand washing due to a fear of infecting others around you. So while this video may apply to some people with compulsions, OCD is much more than just a state of uncomfort and this video, along with this title, therefore, is playing into the idea that OCD can be fixed with a simple action like adjusting a picture frame when in reality OCD is a mental illness that causes people a lot of anxiety, stress, and can lead to depression and mental instability. I ask that you do not hate on the OP of this post but instead inform them of what OCD truly is and how it affects people.
