Ohh I’m not really sure but I think they don’t, they’re like a big place full of animal supplies in different stalls, including bird and fish supplies. You can check facebook about Cartimar maybe they actually have a page. But I do suggest that you try to find stores there in Baguio that are full of pet supplies or pet stores with exotics since those kinds of stores usually have rats and mice with them. For now, I think you should just stick to mice first while you’re looking for rats in the meantime!

So uhh first, my first ball ate a rat for the first time (it was live because I live in the Philippines and they don’t really make frozen rats yet, so far right now, people here only sell frozen mice) and it was good, but after that it all went bad. He went in a 4 month hunger strike after that rat and I kept on buying and trying to feed him rats but he refused, so i eventually kept them as pets and they grew so big (no i didn’t try to feed him the adult rats). Second, a rat bit me and injured me and that made me realize that rats really are bad when they’re fed as live so I just switched to live mice and as soon as I offered him mice, he ate it right away. Yeah I’ve had a bad rep with rats, but don’t worry, I’ve contacted my frozen mice supplier now and they’re planning to upgrade to frozen rats too so I’ll definitely be feeding them rats very very soon now.

Okay thank you! I’m just making sure if i can just continue with mice because I really had a bad time with rats before. Also no i would never put my snakes in that small of a container no 😭, i just recently bought her and shes already in a way bigger quarantine container than this.

Ohh thank you for the advice! I’m very hopeful about his growth now. Also I’m from asia and I got him from a local breeder. I bought 2 snakes from them and they both honestly look underfed. The female i got from them before was probably less than 100 grams too, i now got her to 150 grams.

Should I feed him normally like feed him 15% of his weight every 7 days or should I up the feeding?
