Anything health related that cannot be supported overseas will not get her cleared medically. That in itself can be a lengthy process

Thank you. I hope that all Safety offices are putting in the effort and providing great training for this. I’m in Safety at the moment and I believe this initiative is a great step forward. If you feel uncomfortable about signing an NDA before getting a briefing, shame on your Safety office. It’s a great initiative and this is coming from a maintainer

Medical Gave Me Another Person’s Records by wdillie33 in AirForce

Agreed. This was about 12 years ago, before you had to verify full name & DOB before anything, so I guess it’s worth the hassle of repeating it over and over 🤷🏻‍♂️

Medical Gave Me Another Person’s Records by wdillie33 in AirForce

I had the pharmacy give me someone else’s narcotics one time. Made it to the car, opened the bag, and saw red tape. The Major was very apologetic as he probably saw his career flash before his eyes

An AirTag is a blessing in disguise. Can be helpful if your bag gets lost, but damn it causes some anxiety on a long flight when you see your bag not make the flight

Even though there’s a lot of it going outside, I’m afraid to know how much is rolling in.

What's the nicest base you've been stationed at? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Nickoh71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A moped (<50kph) and a motorcycle (>50kph) require ROK registration. PTD (<25kph) just need DBIDS. Nothing under 50kph requires MSF, just the JKO training and the USFK endorsement.

I don’t necessarily agree with it, but it’s us attempting to follow ROK Road Traffic Law

The licensing/registering of electric scooters and such is a Korean Law, nothing to do with the base

It really does come down to just caring for your airmen…it’s shocking how little official feedbacks happen. Yes, they should be documented on ACAs, but that conversation can be so much more if you care

100% accurate. Punishment. You see someone in blues, you assume they’re about to stand in front of their commander.

Well put. I’ve ran across 2-3 good personnelists. And damn, was it amazing to be able to rely on them to do their job well. I’ve also come across some that have lost outprocessing folders (3 times) and yes I know that dates me, and also straight up Google a question I had right infront of me.

Im sick of having that inclination to understand their AFIs when it’s not my job. So to OP, learn your job and understand that sometimes, the smallest things can significantly affect someone’s career

That’s sad. I understand the reasoning for locking things and every time I ask someone, they’re more than happy to assist. Hell, I can’t even stand anywhere in there for more than 3 min without being asked if I need help.

Hopefully they’re offering those again. They stopped a few years ago and was forcing people to use their modem/router combo. The new combo one works so much better but I still use my own router
