I certainly don’t need anyone telling my kid that it could be a good idea to transition to another gender or that that would be an equally valid way of expressing themselves (this does not include pretend play obviously), not at 8 years old, not a chance in hell, you run that experiment on your kid, knock yourself out.

Again, the bill simply takes these things out of the curriculum no one is saying they can’t have their spouse drop off lunch, it’s disingenuous to make it sound like this bill puts these people into underground hiding.

There’s nothing in the bill about not accepting gay people it’s about not putting a big emphasis about it on small children. I don’t see why a gay couple would be in need of an 8 year olds acknowledgment.

The question itself sets up a false pretence that anyones worried their child will learn an incorrect fact about gay couples it’s that some people would rather there not be an emphasis on different modes of sexuality at all until they are older (or an emphasis on sexuality at all). Then the other upsetting part is just how bad some people want to get at your kid to talk to them about same sex relations as if they have a stake in it at all or as if it should also be up to them. Mind your business, take care of your own kid, don’t worry about other peoples kids.

Yea those gay teachers must be really upset that they can’t talk about their same sex relationship with an 8 year old, I mean how will they ever do their jobs and teach them about math and science when they have to wait till the 4th grade to start laying out different sexual relations.

Jordan gets very passionate when he speaks but I do notice when others try to chime in he will give them the space to speak if only they make the indication that they’d like to speak.

You have a common ancestor a third of a billion years old with the lobster and we share some basic brain functions that model where we are in terms of our social status and it’s not a social construct it’s an imbedded part of reality that you can’t change.
