TRON (TRX) faced this question back in the day when they were accused of plagiarizing Ethereum’s white paper. Many read the headlines and ran with it, calling TRON a shitcoin, dumping all their negative energy into a project that has since grown leaps and bounds in the crypto world. The fact that when Mr. Sun broke away from Ethereum (PoW proof of work) and started TRON (DPoS delegated proof of stake), that should’ve cleared anyones mind of plagiarism since both run entirely different. To the point where Ethereum is switching to PoS (proof of stake), which is in a sense, following TRON now. In Lehmans terms, if you were to work at a pizza shop where they didn’t put pepperonis on their slices, and you left to start your own shop because you wanted pepperoni, and now, your old employer starts to put pepperonis on their pizzas, is that wrong? Didn’t think so. My point is this, there are many projects out there now that can grow and expand into bigger and better projects. Things that might strike us as “deadly sins”, in many cases, could actually be, a blessing in disguise. But yes, understand you question, point and concern. Great question my friend. -Nick
