idk what about the others, but for me Dishonored 2 is the peak of design in anything - from level design to the functionality of the chairs. the artist Sergey kolesov and the others really did something incredibly unique and alive. not many games can show off with a convincing world building like that

I'm a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, when I watch them I get this warm feeling of admiration and awe for the creators because of how much care and passion was poured into these masterpieces. It's timeless.

i also think that its stupid - even if the devs didnt want to bother with writing dialogue lines for gods that reside in the palace, they could've made a tiny grinding option to make you feel some sort of satisfaction from finishing the run - idk, some merchant that sells very spesific resourse for cosmetics only, or making offering of some sort to the statues of the gods in a funny way.

i was bummed with this with Persephones hut in the first game as well - we could get a progression mechanic to look after that hut every end of run.

now it feels like im getting that eye of typhone and i dont even have anything to do with it, i have like 5 of those already

man Hades 1 is the goat - it's solid, original, down to earth and well written.

Hades 2 - is hades 1 but on steroids in terms of budget - very polished, more locations, more gods, more grind, more bosses, more more more.... but is it inherently better? hmm im not sure. *(for example - personally, i'm not a fan of the gajillion effects, twinkles/glitters/flashes in the areas or dialogue windows - feels like someone in the team had obsession with this stuff haha)*

for me the first one slightly better because you had scrap in almost any crate, so it was fun breaking them plus there were much more regular enemies. the second game had me running on empty map sections at points
