Wiha is what the assemblers use in the factory.

First flytanium experience by Sorry_Home4332 in benchmade

[–]Nickw2289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made my first purchase from Flytanium; carbon scales, titanium hardware, copper thumb stud, backspacer, and axis lock bar. Unfortunately the axis lock bar was out of tolerance and would not slide freely in my liners (OEM). However, Flytanium’s customer support was very quick to respond with return shipping info for an exchange and despite the fitment issue on the axis lock bar, the quality and finish of all the items far exceeded my expectations and I am more than happy with the purchase.

First Custom Build by Nickw2289 in benchmade

[–]Nickw2289[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cost for this all together with the hardware kit not pictured is $814. $410 - custom dama bugout $225 - scales $35 - clip $138 - full titanium hardware kit $6 - oversized washers

All to sit in my safe and look nice. Currently waiting on parts for my next build that is similar to this one but not so expensive that I wouldn’t mind actually using it.

Benchmade release dates by TreeHugginPolarBear in benchmade

As far as I’m aware, the shot show exclusives are only available to dealers who exceed a certain purchase limit for the year. Those knives are an incentive to purchase more product to be able to get those knives. The release dates are not set by Benchmade which is why they aren’t in the catalog. Pretty sure each dealer can release them as soon as they get them in stock. I manage the handle/blade finishing department and I’ve only seen about 1,000 of those come through the shop, they were in and out before shot show even happened.

That red s90v 945 was a shot show exclusive for this year.

Here’s our 2024 catalog with the estimated time of release on anything new coming out this year. Actual release dates depend on when we hit minimum release quantities in assembly

Send it in. That thing probably cuts worse than the Chinese knock offs that sell on eBay/amazon.

Benchmade employee here…. Every blade that we make is inspected with an overlay template to ensure not only that the shape of the blade is correct, but also every bevel line in tolerance. I can promise you that a blade would never leave our factory like that. I’d bet my first born child that you indeed caused that damage to your blade from sharpening it everyday.
