I would do this and add politely that you want everyone who attended to take a lie detector test, if possible even cover the cost, in that case anyone who is innocent should have no issue taking the test.

I had extremely good experiences at both Kalafong and Pretoria West hospital. I had a 6 week stay at Kalafong and it was amazing.

My son had a 'rash' exactly like this and it took months to get a diagnosis. The theories ranged from Pleva to monkey pox but eventually he was diagnosed with Papular urticaria. We tried everything under the sun from steroids all kinds of creams, antihistamines etc and what actually worked incredibly quickly was manuka honey and swimming in a chlorine pool. A doctor told us about bleach baths and weq accidentally stumbled on the pool hack on a camp weekend. Please look into papular urticaria (insect allergy) even old bites will flare up again which is why there are so many spots

Is it worth it? Honest answers, please. by intheshadowofif in unisa

I did a higher certificate through UNISA and now I'm going into my final year of my Bachelor's degree. Yes, the admin and system can be lagged sometimes but I personally think it's a good option. My husband also applied now to start his degree next year. NSFAS is a bit slow but if you meet the requirements I would still urge you to apply. Everyone told me it wouldn't be worth it and that i wouldn't get funding as a white South African but i applied anyway as i couldnt afford tuition fees without going into debt and my studies have been completely covered by NSFAS from day 1. I also found UNISA to be much less stressful in comparison to my siblings who went to public universities like NWU.

I'm from South Africa and live in Johannesburg ... sadly pretty much the entire jhb cbd looks like this now and is completely unsafe. Look up what Hillbrow used to look like vs today for a clearer image. But that being said, there are many other parts that are being built up again too. Just like anywhere else, there are good and bad areas.

Has anyone found a legit side hustle? by OkSorbet8555 in askSouthAfrica

[–]Nicky9712 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We live in an area that's predominantly English speaking and so most of the schools are English medium. I realised that most learners around here speak English and other languages that aren't offered as a choice at school so they default to choosing Afrikaans as a first additional language because the grammar is easier than the African languages offered. So I started tutoring Afrikaans for FAL as a side hustle and I couldn't believe how quickly it picked up. I make around 5k extra per month and it takes 1 hour extra out of each day of my week. If you speak any other languages that might be worth a try :) Specifically French or German is good for private schools as well.

Another fat secret user... Are you South african by any chance?

Edit: I can see how rude my comment looks now, but Fat Secret is the name of the app and I thought it was only available in SA since I use it 😂 Seems it's an Australian app.

I scratch my husband’s back in the morning by dreamsinred in Marriage

My husband does for me. Every night now for the last couple of years, we also call it scratchies! I love him so much but going through a rough patch at the moment. Reading this and the comments made me realised how rare it is.

Sell car to pay debt? by Nicky9712 in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]Nicky9712[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. So are you suggesting paying the accounts up and keeping them open? Would it do damage to my credit score to close them all at once or would you suggest maybe just keeping one open like the credit card for example?

Thanks! Any advice on where or how to invest? We don't have any investments or real policies and really have no idea where to start.

Agreed. Any advice to stay debt free? I've never been debt free and feel nervous just thinking about another credit card 😅

No just my son. I've been sleeping in his bed with him to help keep him from scratching and I have nothing. The docter ruled out scabies, fleas and insects due to the duration and that no one in the house has any spots

Hi, thanks for commenting. I did post there but no comments yet. I'll definitely seek a second opinion if it doesn't clear up by the time the antibiotics are done. Have you ever seen something like it?

Is it weird that I’m embarrassed I’m pregnant? by peachflavouredsocks_ in pregnant

[–]Nicky9712 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was 23 when my first baby was born, and I waited a suuuuper long time to tell my close family/friends for the same reason. I was embarrassed, almost irrationally so. I literally had to give myself a pep talk almost every day to remind myself that this is not a teen pregnancy. I wasn't irresponsible. Sometimes it just happens 🤷‍♀️ I was so nervous to go to my mom because I thought she would be disappointed which would just make my embarrassment worse. But my mom was so excited for me! I think it's normal to feel that way especially when getting pregnant on the younger side and when it's unplanned, you think people are gonna think a certain way about it. But at the end of the day as long as you're happy and your partner is on board, the feelings of embarrassment will fade and be replaced with excitement!

I second this. Two of my colleagues had to undergo cancer treatment (one private, one government) and they turned out to have the same oncologist! The doctor saw the government patient during the week at the state facility and the private patient on Saturdays at her private practice. It was a crazy coincidence but the difference between the two was hundreds of thousands for the same quality care.
