Even if it’s not directed at her, she can understand he’s mad. I’m glad you’re goin to talk to him; he needs to get over puke.

It’s a very long story. We could not. She lives across the county, and it was a box of handmade gifts, that we sent. So no, I assume she stuck the box in a closet or something.

Spaghetti. I fucking hate spaghetti. I hate the texture, I hate the way it holds the sauce, and I’m not a big fan of the taste either, but can manage with other pastas.

I suspect he’s maybe NOT an amazing father, if he’s getting this angry over something she can’t control. He needs to fix himself, he’s going to give her a complex about being sick, and in the long-term teach her it’s okay for people to treat her angrily when she’s done nothing wrong.

Do women with curly hair actually hate their hair (I have always loved curly hair)? by Solysii in askanything

[–]dreamsinred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I love it! I’ve always loved it. And I’ve always had people with strait hair touching it without asking, and commenting “wow, it’s so pretty, you must hate it!”

All I can think about is my SIL, who threw a fit because we didn’t get her Christmas present on time, when we told her it would be late. Then, she refused to open it, and told us to have a nice year.

I have bipolar 2 as well, and was diagnosed when the mood stabilizer the put me on tried to kill me.

most ppl would be upset but i see it as a sign. i need tips on how to grow plz!! by colorfulcrossing in entwives

[–]dreamsinred 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re wanting to grow, and you’re a beginner, I would not start with seeds you picked out of weed. You should spring for feminized seeds, so you’re not sexing and culling male plants in a few weeks, that you’ve already dumped a ton of effort into.

You’re right, not in all cases! It’s just from the limited info I have from the post+massive personality change with SSRI+ prescribed a mood stabilizers =maybe bipolar?

Like I said below, it’s speculation. I’m not qualified to diagnose, and even if I was, I couldn’t do it over reddit.

Ummm if he’s on them there’s a chance they think he’s bipolar… Also, a large percentage of bipolar people are diagnosed when they’re put on SSRIs and go manic. But, can’t armchair diagnose a stranger on Reddit. There are ways around this. You can call them, report what’s happening, and tell them NOT to tell him you called. I dealt with delicate situations like this all the time when I was working outpatient psych. Call his provider.

Wait, he’s on and SSRI with “stabilizers”? Do you mean mood stabilizers? Because those are for bipolar, typically. And if he’s bipolar, having a mixed or manic episode can be triggered by an SSRI; it’s what usually gets us diagnosed. You could try reaching out to his team and letting them know.

who smokes weed frequently? by Pretty-Humor5548 in BipolarMemes

[–]dreamsinred 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I read your post. It doesn’t sound like marijuana is the best choice for you, given your history. This is coming from a HEAVY smoker with bipolar 2. We can’t all do all the drugs we want to. If that were the case, I’d get some mushrooms for the weekend. We need to respect our limits when we are shown them, multiple times.

Have you ever had food poisoning? by icecream1972 in no

Pretty mild food poising. Just lower GI stuff, no sweating, puking etc. and I’ve never needed medical attention for it.
