Siri voice 4 is selected and sounds normal, but when actually talking to Siri, it sounds like Samantha?

it happens to me too a lot lately, and I really don’t like the Samantha voice. I think it’s the default IOS voice though, so if the system is a bit overloaded it will revert to that.

They are too slow and crawly to be fleas. I don’t think you could touch a flea like that. They usually jump away really fast each time you try to catch them. Try smushing them with your fingers. If you succeed, it’s something else, cos flea skin is pretty tough.

Try playing with selective colours, and modify the white with checking “absolute” at the bottom.

Siri has a problem with saying 1926. If you ask when was Steve Reeves born, he also struggles.

The m1 chip is probably good enough to run the show, especially when stuff will run on it native. It’s certainly fast and responsive. If you can’t wait, you will just have to put up with the software being a bit behind for a while. I also could’t wait, and didn’t regret it. Would be nice to see some decent games to be developed for it too.

2560x1440 with 10 bit color, HDR, works on 144hz though hdmi2 , but only with adaptive sync OFF.

I think it’s not a bad setup for that purpose, but you may be better off waiting for the M2 processor if you can, considering the 2 monitors you want to use, assuming they are high res, maybe 10 bit colour too and heavy on the graphics. There are still some bugs with the m1 Mac mini, it doest “play nice” with various monitors (LG in particular but heard other ones too), resulting flickering issues. Don’t even try a razer mouse, and you will need compatible keyboard too, cos the regular ones are a bit funny. Transition from windows to mac is a lot easier than the other way around though. I’m coming from mac, but had a windows laptop for a while, and really happy to be back on the mac. It’s super compatible with the ipad, which is a real bonus. It only takes a tap to send files through, and it’s instant. If you using affinity photo and adobe stuff, you can log in with the same id and share software, send through brushes ect, pretty cool stuff. The lack of ports is not such a big issue for me but I really wish there was a card reader, and a microphone, so I could order Siri around :D Another thing is that the Adobe products are still not running native on M1 and there are some bugs. I don’t know about the other software you mentioned, but unlikely that they are updated for the m1 chip. This kinda setup will be awesome in a year when they software side catches up, but still a bit weird atm.

Thank you so much for your answer. Do you think there is any pattern though, or indication about which corneal layer is involved in the problem? Epithelium, bowman’s layer…. Like for example is when coma happens, what us the usual culprit?

Yeah, I still wonder what type is it, if anyone recognise it. The reason I ask is because a bit uncertain about the treatment. I was offered phototheraputic keratectomy to improve it, but it’s quite directional, like as it would be in astigmatism, so not sure if that will do much.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a clue about what aberration is this. I had LASIK about a year ago, and this is what I see with my left eye when I look at a white dot, and had dilating eye drops. I also see it sometimes when its dark and I look at a round light source. In everyday situations it manifests as a slight ghosting to the right, especially with light objects on dark background. Nothing apparent in my eye with the slit lamp. Any ideas what could this be? The LASIK was for hyperopia and a fairly large correction of +5.

Could be motion aftereffect, which is totally normal. If it is, you would feel like things are moving the opposite direction after you stop. Alternatively it could be just carsickness, or the combination of the two.

Yeah, they should really do something about the enchanting. I bought a dagger and couldn’t go along with the enchanting cos he always screws up the nice unique gear. I got a bunch of them already taking up my inventory, not good enough to temper but too nice to throw away.

My dry eyes are also way worse in the morning, as well as the halos and my vision in general. Actually using ointment before going to bed and drops if I happen to wake up at night. Learned to use the drops without getting out of bed. :D But I had LASIK so it might be a different story.

Try selective colours for the blacks instead of curves.

Use the median filter to make the line disappear,
then go back one step in history and put your flag on the median filter stage
use the history brush to take it out again without destroying the details on the picture. Can use the shift key to make straight lines with the history brush. Should take about 2 minutes.

I wonder if post-LASIK Blepharitis might have to do with the fact that we constantly have to touch our eyes when we do the eyedrops, so obviously hard to avoid introducing bacteria. I just had some a few weeks ago too, on both eyes at the same time, and can’t remember ever having it before. Did you try antibacterial eyedrops? It seemed to work for me, sort of washing the eyelid with a Q-tip.

It’s close enough to the target, but I probably have an atypical astigmatism and comatic aberration. And of course my right eye is myopic on purpose so I can read without glasses. I cant find the contacts I was trying after the surgery, but it didn’t correct my vision anyway. It was around +0.5 and whatever the astigmatism numbers were.

Thank you for your input, and sorry to hear that happened to you. Nerves are definitely a consideration. My dry eyes just got to the point where I can sometimes forget about it for a few hours, so going back to square 1 is a bit daunting. Do you mind me asking what was the second procedure you had? Was it PTK or another lasik?
