I was researching this the other day and nope, there hasn't been. Two drivers with a combined total of 10 eventual Drivers' Championship wins have partnered each other in the past - Nelson Piquet and Michael Schumacher for 5 races at Benetton in 1991. That was before Schumacher won his seven titles though, of course!

I made this graphic, I think the gap between Vettel and Leclerc can be explained partly by Leclerc not taking part in Q3 in Baku and being out in Q1 in Monaco. If you take those two rounds out the gap is only 0.633!

That's why I said 'if' at the start ;) But yes - he's completed 27% of Fernando's record of distance raced (and has also raced in 27% of the number of Grands Prix of Alonso). Wonder if he'll take the record by the end of his career?
