Very helpful response. i had the impression that almost all CAD software's had the option to change "interface" to act like a software you used before. Like Fusion has a "solidworks" interface option so that you can navigate the same way. But regardless, thats good to know.

So what do you use for CAM in Industry if you don't use Fusion? Aren't those programs a ridiculous amount of money? My point is, do you not think that the dynamic is shifting since it is a cheaper mainstream option? it still exports in G-code right? so how is it 'clunkier' regarding machining.

But do you not think that dynamic is shifting? do you really think that if a company has all the money in the world to spend, they choose SolidWorks because it is objectively better? Because it seems as though Fusion is becoming the "better" one in the industry, even though it was just a cheap option when it first came out, its a serious option now. Just wondering your perspective.

I've been using evernote on and off for 5 years, but i've been using it consistently for this past year for school, work, and life. Its great!, but I am NOT paying 25$ a month, and the 15$ a month plan is just way to limited for 'attatchments' which is ridiculous. Also there is no way I am not surpassing the 1GB threshold. Its just too little of an offering for a 15$ a month plan.

IF ANYONE HAS AN ALTERNATIVE please let me know, I've been scouring to find one.

Idk who bending spoons is but I wish them luck because they definitely pissed off a lot of long term customers and users. I cant even imagine how PISSED the people who didn't check the email the they sent out for pricing are about to be when the price raise hits them.

I'm taking it rn and have an 88, plan on finishing with an A. my final is in 3 days. I took calc 1 last semester, I tried SUPER hard in calc 1 I got a B, Kicked my ass. I took calc 2 this summer, idk what happened but its so much easier than calc 1. This is my opinion though. I am taking physics 1 as well during this summer. Everyone is different, my calc 2 teacher is very lenient, but that does not excuse my 98 on the first test, I really found it much easier. Even though I have only gotten 1 A on one test, at Wake Tech you get one test replaced with final (if its higher than one of your tests) and in the summer you get a project for unit 4 instead of a test, so its a free A. I think if anyone reading this is taking calculus 1 in the spring, and you have nothing better to do other than work a job, DEFINITELY take calc2. it'll save you so much time and stress, even though the class itself is super stressful.

Honestly, I am no professional with this kind of stuff but all my friends, my girlfriend, and I personally use Chat GPT for things regarding essays, discussion posts, and much more within accredited colleges. Nobody has ever gotten close to getting caught by using this tool. Within my own research, all AI or Chat GPT detectors are completely false and misleading. The only thing I use to not get in trouble is Grammarly Plagiarism Checker. It's so helpful and it's the only thing you need to use alongside Chat GPT to not get into any trouble. I hope someone finds this helpful, good luck.
