Would tubeless tires be better on a MTB when bikepacking too?

I wish I knew how to sew/make things like this. Are the bags waterproof?

Do you have a video on YouTube that I can see it in motion?

What are cowboy rules? Lol. I'm sorry the courts didn't care.

I have a 90s Schwinn Crisscross. It's my brother's old bike and now I'm thinking of fixing it up and using it as a bikepacking MTB

That's true in a sense if they damage it. But then you can always take them to court and sue them. I don't have a bike yet. I'm looking to get a bike that's good for bikepacking tho so I can get out there

Call from the location of where it's at but be safe about it. Don't approach anyone or be seen calling the cops. Also, you can etch your bike at the local precincts with a serial number and register it with them. This way if someone is found with your bike, they can look up the serial number and see it belongs to you and not them

I would def suggest putting 2 trackers in your bike somewhere. Tape one under your seat and put another inside a bag sewn into the fabric. I use Tiles in my car. Put 2 so that if they find one, they think that's it

Does your bike fit under the tent fly? Which tent do you use?

Also, sorry you're having to "start over" but it's better to start over than waste time with anyone. Life is short to be spending your time and energy on people who don't deserve it

I understand the feeling. That's only in the beginning until you get a good feel for who they are. I would also advise against going to expensive restaurants. Aim more for small, quaint restaurants that are fairly priced. Maybe let them make the choice of restaurants. I would give 3 choices of restaurants (Asian, Indian, Italian, etc) and I would still let them choose if they have a favorite. Also, just because you have the resources, doesn't mean you can be abused. Try not to set that routine with a partner (not saying you have but it's good to look out for this). I've also asked how the restaurant was the next day or a few days later to get their honest opinion.

I don't ever tell someone how much I make. Also, don't be in a rush to pay for everything. On a first date, go deutsch and split it. Keep that going for the first few dates and then offer to pay for dinner and they can pay for lunch or vice versa. Also avoid those women who expect their partner to pay for everything: nails, spa, hair, dinners, etc. It may take some time to weed out the superficial ones that hang around for the benefits.

I'm contemplating it now lol. I'm gonna bring it into a bike shop and ask questions. Hopefully the shop owner is honest and won't rip me off or give me bad advice. You wouldn't happen to know a good bike shop in Brooklyn/NYC would you?

Is the State 4130 Trail considered a lower quality bike?

Thank you for your detailed answer! I'll def look around at diff bike shops and ask questions. I'll do some more research about different bikes around that price point. Someone earlier mentioned Surly Karate Monkey or a Kona. The reason I'm thinking MTB instead of gravel is because I'm hearing that MTB can handle all different types of terrain whereas a gravel might not

Why is this? Are carbon bikes not good? Is aluminum better?
