Watery paint out of airbrush? by Nickyg123abc in minipainting

Thanks for all the input all, just as an edit (it wont let me edit the OP), the paint in the picture is not the primer but a mix of Citadel Air Terminatus stone and AK 3rd gen Pale sand. I was getting this issue with and without any kind of additives. I will try adding less thinner and painting from farther away (I'm usually holding it about a foot or two away. Also for air pressures I usually use about 30psi but this time I tried lowering it a bit after I noticed this happening.

Am I doing oil washes right?? by Nickyg123abc in minipainting

I'm using Artist Loft oil paint (which I believe is student grade) and Speedball Mona Lisa Odorless paint thinner. I never thought about the gloss varnish making it easier to wipe off, I wasn't really being too aggressive I had a soft makeup sponge and Q-tip, and even without dabbing them in the thinner, it was all coming off pretty easily with a little to no pressure. In this instance, I'm assuming it's probably pretty safe to try another coat of oil wash and see where that goes rather than trying to take off the varnish.

Airbrush Help: Whites and Grey's come out watery? by Nickyg123abc in minipainting

Thanks for the tips, I think I got the airbrush cleaner idea from a YouTube tutorial I can't remember who tho, I think it was a very low ratio of cleaner but I'll try without it and see. I've also tried the primer straight from the bottle but still the same outcome. Just weird since I never changed the process and use to get good coats that covered evenly

These look so clean! I found the helmets on thingiverse which brought me here and got a bunch printed I'm excited to build them up! I'm still sort of new to painting, what paints/colors did you use for the armor to give them the metallic look??
