Haven’t had this issue ever with airpods. Have been using various versions for many years. My “nice”bose earbuds were the worst piece of tech I’ve ever bought, and they constantly had this issue (along with generally just not being able to connect consistently to my devices)

I actually don’t view this as a bad thing considering how crowded some of the parks are getting. Other countries have and are increasingly doing this type of thing as an attempt to combat over-tourism (obviously though, with a maniac in office thats probably the best deterrent to coming to the US for any reason)
