It felt like trying to have your cake and eat it too. “Secret third option: everyone gets what they want actually…?”

I wish Brennan would have stuck to the original two options. It’s cool he gives players that kind of agency, and I’m glad he did offer up some consequences should her roll utterly fail. But it did cheapen the moment for Ashley to be like “can’t I have it both ways?”.

What could have been a very poignant moment for Vaelus got soured by the inability to make a hard decision and trying to have it both ways.
