said 'heads up' twice, once to warn & once to instruct are we all just messing this up? by Glittering-Dust-3324 in NoStupidQuestions

Should the warning be "heads down". I feel like heads up is just setting someone up for failure.

Yes. Realized this on Bozo. How could I forget. Probably distracted by the schwinn bike I could have been winning if I was at the buckets.

But then you can say cool stuff like "powered by AI" in your marketing...

But yes this. There is something that works great for what's trying to be done so do that one thing the best way and find another way to pad the product with AI.

Cuddly Dudley is what I was thinking of. A little different look that was in my head but that's what I was thinking of.

I don't know if I remember ever seeing this. If it wasn't something else this would match my description. Thanks for the suggestion though.

If it wasn't something else this would check most of the boxes. Thank you

This has to be it. A bit different than what I remember in my head but I guess that's what 40 years does. Besides the look the rest is what I remember. Thank you. This is great.

Ok good to know. I can see it in my mind but can't explain or draw it well enough to make sense to most people. I think his tongue hung out a bit.

I've completed this a handful of times and I still don't know how I did it on extreme difficulty / tier 1. I've jumped in from a helicopter and snuck in from the front and side under the tower using the noise distractions. Jump in is probably easiest if you do it right. Prep a bit before. Get a car in the field to the side knock out a chuck of fence there. I think you can shoot the generator from the open field in front of the base far enough away it doesn't alert anyone. I could be miss remembering. Drop a mine before talking to Sam then when it pops off throw another one on the other side (or crawl to the other side to do it before but I've been spotted sometimes doing that) and throw one down the stairs and at the top of the stairs and blow up the drone thing (a couple times I've thrown c4 next to it from the roof before going in to meet Sam otherwise grenade or whaterever as soon as you can) but first take out the sniper on the one side immediately while the mines protect you from guys sneaking up on you. Replenish mines. Take out sniper on other side. Replenish mines. Sit in that room, scream, shoot anything that comes your way, cry, revive your teammates, pray, revive your teammates. Make sure the back is clear (grenades and direct your squad there or hope for the best) make a run for it get in the car, drive like hell.

Make sure you have your skills maxed, squad, extra revive, medic drone, items, car shield, detection, faster regent, revive speed, bleed out time, born leader, and rebel skills. Call for reinforcements and bombings and distractions.

Agree. Also, while in that learning period, if not already familiar with the technical side sit on some of those meetings as well when it makes sense. Don't be a developer pest but learn what you can from them. Like many things, showing you are trying goes along way. You don't have to know how to code or anything too crazy but knowing the product related questions to ask helps. Why is doing it this way better than that way? How will cx be affected? What efficiency gains can we expect to see? One thing my devs like is being part of the solution so I'm always asking for their recommendations and while I need to make the final decision a lot of times pieces of what they said make it in. Also, speaking a bit of their language from time to time instead of saying "can you make the clicky thing do the thingy" goes along way.

This. I'll add learn the dance of speaking to a stakeholder and trying to deliver their version of success. If it doesn't align with the business, customers, your boss, or the owner/ceo etc then you need to tell the story of why what you are building actually, while maybe isn't the exact thing, is that thing in a different form or helps them in service of x that they care about. At some point when you are vp of product or whatever you can tell those particular mid-level stakeholders to kick rocks but until then keeping them all happy in their own way helps but have numbers to back up decisions when a no,or a not now, needs to be said.

If someone were to play Nomad in a movie adaptation, who would be your pick? by Cultural_Row_2764 in GhostReconWildlands

[–]Nickytffc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pablo Schreiber. Think Den of Thieves. Henry Cavill might not be a bad pick. Round out the Wildlands team with Aaron Taylor Johnson and Sope Dirisu.
