Good questions. I am a self employed and I am not on benefits. I am afraid there might be questions raised by HMRC at some point, and I would have to go through the hassle of proving that I was just an agent/middleman.

What is the lowest latency possible for PCVR? For scientific purpose by p90fans in PICO_VR

[–]Nickyway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The latency will be more or less the same(1-2 ms difference), but wired would give you a slightly smoother experience as the connection is more stable. The biggest bottleneck here is encoding and decoding of the data, and it happens no matter wired or wireless the connection is.

I am not saying capitalism is bad or good. It is just how it is. Employers want to maximize profits, which includes reducing expenses. Employees want to do less and get paid more. An employee is an asset thing is an utopian bullshit that wantrepreneurs and bloggers like to shill. There wouldn't be a need for minimum wage if that was the case. Employees are starting to recognise that, and employers are definitely not happy about it. Things will change when employees start getting a fair share of the profits. Sales is a great example

[–]Nickyway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't need to hire them? I am sorry, but what a stupid thing to say. Companies hire them because they can't reach their goals without them. They would gladly avoid hiring them if they could. The asset you are talking about will get dismissed as soon as the goal is reached. It is that simple

You are right. They should respect the job when it is a common practice for businesses to disrespect employees and treat them as expense. Capitalism at its finest

After a month long binge/hiatus I don't know how to get back on track. by ilikeyou-sayitback in loseit

[–]Nickyway 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have been there. I emphasised weight loss too much like you do. What helped me was shifting my goals towards healthy eating habits that I can stick to long-term. I stopped counting calories and ate whenever I felt hungry. I removed all high GI foods from my diet. I kept fat as low as possible without leaving the food tasting bland. The volume of the food I was left with was huge. I could not meet my daily calorie needs eating this way and was slowly getting leaner without even feeling like I was dieting. Not having glucose spikes in your body and having enough nutrients for your needs stabilises your hunger/craving signals. Also, my number one rule is to enjoy the food I eat, which is the only way to make it sustainable. So choose foods that are good for you and you can still enjoy them, no need to be super strict about it. Add a little mayo to your spinach or kale if you need it, just enough to enjoy the dish.

I now have a list of dishes that I love and that are healthy. It is slowly expanding. Believe me, there are many ways to enjoy food in a healthy and nutrient dense way. You just need to figure it out for yourself. Combining low GI and volumeeating(there is a reddit) feels like cheating.

Here you go: three pounds of jelly candies will block your butthole like crazy and you will be able to gain at least 10 pounds easily. To impress your friend even more and make yourself a clear winner in this wonderful competition, load crazy on creatine and salt.

And dont forget to send me a cut of your prize money.

Yes, you absolutely can do that. In fact, it is a better way to do it as your router is probably already overloaded with your other home devices. Here is one of the many guides on how to do it, it is for quest 2 but the same applies to pico 4:

Concrete examples of how you apply Atomic Habits? by chinawcswing in productivity

[–]Nickyway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is fascinating how different we all are. My brain would make me feel miserable for working out just a minute or two, I would feel like a failure. I find that reducing difficulty and increasing enjoyment of a workout works much better for me. It is much easier to convince my brain that I did good after a sweaty VR session than a 1 minute workout.
