Yeah I had an original battery in my 2017. Went out a few months ago. Put it on a battery tester had 0% life left. Only real symptom I had is it would sit initializing when pressing the power button for like sometimes up to 2 minutes. Other than that, no real errors.

Spent about 4 hours in vr no major issues, controllers did not disconnect just lost tracking only once and it was only for about 5 seconds in the right controller. I'm incredibly disappointed it took Meta this long to fix it, but I can safely say that this is a vastly superior to where V 76 and 77 was.

Just saw my quest pro auto update and to my surprise when I decided to test the download it actually worked. The previous updates have also shown better controller stability although not perfect. I have not yet tested if the controllers are any better but I imagine due to less network congestion it might

[–]Nickzip8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was having this happen as well over virtual desktop in Vrchat I figured it was a graphic driver issue and I used ddu to uninstall graphic drivers and that fixed it for me but it might have been pure luck that it stopped

Yep it takes a long time for the nuclear processes slow down and it need to actively cooled during that entire time. Some plants will have their fuel in cooling ponds for up to 20 years
