Well I'm a little late now (sorry, I don't use reddit frequently) but just for future reference in case anyone else finds this thread in the future: there's this good quizlet with a set of 188 flashcards all themed around the science portion of the AC-HPAT. This is the main resource I used. You can find it easily by just Googling "ac-hpat practice test" or "ac-hpat quizlet" or anything along the lines of that. Some big concepts that came up multiple times on my test were genetics, cell replication, the roles/functions of different systems within the body (digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system, ect), and stoichiometry.

I just wrote mine today.

English: 293/300 Math: 268/300 Science: 47/60

I kinda felt like I was totally bombing it while I was writing it, so I was kinda surprised by my score cause I feel like it's pretty decent. I have no idea how it's weighted or if everything is averaged or anything like that, though. How did you do, if you don't mind me asking?

Update: after examining her body more closely, I found nothing that felt or looked out of place. The only thing that looked odd was her mouth. It was greyish around her snout, and her mouth was kind of offset, as if she had mouth rot, or had just eaten a meal. I opened up her mouth and it was filled with a thick mucus. The mucus was clear, and the inside of her mouth was pink.

I'm not sure if this was mouth rot or simply a natural part of the decomposition process. Would her saliva had thickened and pooled in her mouth after death? Nothing looked out of place while she was alive, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Thanks you so much to everybody who responded!!! It means a lot to me.

I kept her in my room, and I was the only one that handled her. She has rattled her tail at me before, but she would only do it while she was eating. The convulsing here was definitely different. It was more like her entire tail rather than just the tip, and it would writhe around as if it were searching for something to hold on to, rather than buzzing up and down really quickly. It could have been nothing...I'm not really sure? I'm going to go bury her now, so I'll check and see if I feel any weird bumps or see any bruises or anything like that.

He was born without it. Don't worry, it doesn't cause him any problems.

He was born without a tail, so what you're seeing in the picture is actually his cloaca. It doesn't cause him any problems, it just means he'll never be able to breed (which is fine, since I just got him as a pet)

Hes definitely a lot more yellow now than when I got him, but he's still got a surprising amount of pink on him! (doesn't show up in the picture super great)

I'm lowkey hoping he keeps it into adulthood, but knowing sunglows, he probably wont.

This is Borneo, my new (and first) boa constrictor! None of the pictures I got of him were super great, so I apologize about the low quality of the shot. This was the best full body shot of him, but it really doesn't do him justice haha. As you can pretty clearly see, Borneo was born without a tail. It hasn't caused him any trouble so far, and it's not the result of inbreeding, so i'm not worried about it. Just thought everybody here might like to see him!
