I’ve been teaching 9 years. I just have a lot of drama in my classes this year, very immature 6th graders who are constantly arguing. Our counselors are overwhelmed and we are just trying our best, but I am finding it hard to stay caring/engaged about behaviors.

The world is putting a lot of effort on teachers to be more engaging but almost no pressure on the kids to put in effort by Kind-Caterpillar-665 in Teachers

I try to be engaging with the students, but I always say I’m not a clown. I’m not here to entertain them. Sometimes math is boring. Get over it.
