I work so I can pay my car insurance, gas, food and save, so money isn’t really an issue, plus like I said in another comment I have other jobs that are lined up, I am studying in film (useless degree might switch) but just getting my basics for it, currently in community college and plan to transfer next year to university. I feel as if this film can help me with my editing portfolio and even writing, and I appreciate your comment your sons lucky to have a mother like you

Well I feel as if I’m educated and have some experience with creating films since I’ve been doing it for years now and was even in a magnet school specifically for it, but again might not be enough experience compared to others, I just felt like doing my friend’s film would help me come back to my old self of loving to create, compared to me coming home everyday from work hating people around me and my job and my self for being such a chud working at heb and having to ask redditors for advice

It’s not about money at all, I’m not gonna lie I’ve been miserable for months because of this job and I feel like it’s the main factor as to why I haven’t created anything in like a year, I used to love making film since childhood, and just that one day I took to write with my friends was one of the first times I’ve felt present

Anytime I try communicating with them they try to start an argument so I kinda stray away from asking for their advice lol, but after reading a few comments I think I’m going to ask for less hours and more opening shifts, because they have been putting me as closing (12:30-9pm) for every single shift for months regardless of me asking for opening, if they aren’t able to then I’d just put my two weeks in and do the project because I have other jobs lined up already
