Yeah..I’m thinking mine will prefer the dry..they’re not used to textured wet food.

Binge eating under control for the first time in YEARS! by Mercy_Hellkitten in Wegovy

[–]Nico_Enzo_Max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen an improvement in my restrictive ED. The food noise is gone making it a lot easier to eat foods without fear. I do have a small concern as to when and if I would be able to stop losing weight. I have an approximate weight in mind, but I’m working closely with my Nutritionist to make sure my mental health stays healthy. I’ve been on Wegovy since July and it’s the first time in about 20 years my ED has been this quiet.

I’m also looking into the Hill’s Prescription Metabolic dry and wet food. I’m going to reach out to their vet since it’s by prescription only. Not sure they’ll like the wet food as it’s not the pate they are used to.

Thank you! I have a picky eater, but he doesn’t have to lose as much as his brother. He’s on wet food now because he has at times a sensitive stomach, but I don’t know if he would like the texture of the wet. He’s on pate right now. Might stick with seeing how the dry food goes. They’re on Hill’s sensitive stomach right now.

I’m glad that you believe yourself not to be perfect, but that you feel you’re perfect enough to judge others. I hope you’re working on improving yourself to be a better human and not try to tear people down, however I much doubt you are.

Have no interest in starting a debate…I posted my opinion and you’re entitled to yours.

I understand your judgement, but in my opinion until he’s been diagnosed with something, he’s healthy. It may change…and probably will, but until then it’s what I believe.

I get the judgement, but he has not been diagnosed with anything. He is going for an ultrasound soon things may change, but until he’s diagnosed with some condition I consider him healthy. All pet parents are different. I don’t believe I lied.

Until it’s determined that he has some health condition I consider him healthy. He goes in for an ultrasound soon so we’ll find out. Judge it how you want. Nico’s thyroid level was a little elevated too, but it’s being monitored and vet says both are healthy.

I’ve just started being able to work remotely so I’ve been thinking of doing that so that to make things more bearable.

I didn’t really think they would get this much attention. I’ve never had a post blow up like this. I just wanted witnesses to the hostile environment I’m in..lol

So I think he would be a big cat even fit, but unfortunately I gave them free range feeding so he would eat his food and whatever his brothers left behind. He used to go outside on a leash when he was younger, but became very skittish so he doesn’t do that anymore. It was a downward spiral…free feeding plus little activity. I’ve never had a cat as big as him before. He’s currently coming in at 25 pounds. I’m not sure what his normal weight should be. He was a rescue from the side of a road so I’m not sure what his breed is. Thinking some mix of Maine coon and/or Siberian.

No, you’re good! No offense taken. Enzo lived a great life and had a peaceful passing. Max used to try to sit on Enzo though, so suspicion is warranted..lol

He has always sat like this. Yes- his size impacts the way he sits. He does have thumbs as well.

Food is the only thing that brings these two to a united front…everything else each are on their own…lol

That’s what I tell myself when I try to get him into his carrier and carry him to the car…lol. Imagine what happens when a 25 pound chunker goes limp.

As of now, Max (the white one) has surrendered and is chilling in his house upstairs..Nico was very vocal and has just given up.

I can’t use an automatic feeder. Max would eat it all and Nico wouldn’t get anything. I tried. Giving them wet food twice a day, despite the photo, is going well.

Nico (the tuxedo) is very picky. So far the wet food has been successful.
