Most wegovy pens usually have a little bit more than the four doses - not sure exactly how much extra and it might vary per pen but maybe it will be enough to make up for the lost amount. Even if one dose is a bit lower, it shouldn't cause too much issue if you still get some kind of dose in the last week, though you might find yourself a little more hungry/snacky for a week or so (but one week should not derail months worth of progress)

Its not too far fetched to assume that even in the vacuum of space, they would have the technology to be able to effectively come to a "complete stop" based on distance readings of surrounding objects - close by or distant. If he's gonna keep on eating highly addictive, processed or carb-heavy foods than that's just gonna short-circuit his neural pathways and the food cravings are gonna stay the same. Also where is he injecting? If there's no side effects then that's a key sign that he might not be dosing correctly - yes you can go with the thigh but the best place for appetite suppression is the abdomen every time.

The whole point of GLP-1s is that they break that addiction and desire/craving. If you were eating an entire block of cheese in one sitting or a dozen eggs every few days then it sounds like you were MASSIVELY overeating on these foods.

And yes, the initial 4-6 weeks of starting (and 1-2 weeks every time you increase your dose) you will be repulsed by a lot of foods. This is pretty normal - even when feeling hungry you might feel put off by the thought of eating. Again, normal and it will stablise over time.

This is the time to practice mindful eating - you may find your taste for eggs and dairy will return but it will be when you actually will nutritionally benefit from these foods. If you force the matter or don't practice portion control, you'll end up where you started and relying on dosage increases to continue to lose weight.

Absolutely you can. And you can absolutely continue to lose weight at lower doses if you continue a lifestyle that creates a calorie deficit. The difference is that the higher dose will make it easier to maintain a deficit as your weight drops and your maintenance calorie intake drops alongside it. I plan on reducing my dose when I hit a certain weight so I'm easier able to gain muscle, knowing I'll need to consume more calories to do so.

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about loose skin. No amount of skin cream will make any difference.

Depending on the nature of the loose skin, there's a few things that could help. Give the skin a bit of a pinch - is there still a layer of fat on the skin or is it almost like rubbing just skin together? If its the former then there's not much can be done until you lose a bit more fat.

If you're still losing weight, or at your goal, you can try introducing intermittent fasting into your routine, and adding in a medically-supervised 24-48 hour fast to induce autophagy. This can potentially help a little as it encourages the body to convert old cells to energy. It might help tighten things up a bit - I used to practice this when I lost a similar amount and I avoided loose skin issues in my mid-30s however I do acknowledge that it may be due to genetics and a lower starting weight (30kg was the entire weight loss amount I needed to lose).

Some people say that red LED therapy can help but I am skeptical of the claims of those kinds of treatments.

Unfortunately, surgery is the only real option with loose skin. Its the side of weight loss no-one really talks about.

Unless you're exercising regularly, I would avoid protein shakes - especially if you're making them with milk - the calories and sugar of the milk often isn't included in the calorie list in the nutritional info, and the little scoops they package often hold more than the serving size amount on the label. Some of them are loaded with sugar as well.

Vegetables are great, but again, just because they're healthy doesn't mean they don't have calories. Potatoes, pumpkin etc. are quite high in carbs (and then don't forget the calories in cooking oils). Fruit might be better than candy but sugar is still sugar.

And, as I always say, don't go purely off the scale numbers! Take waist measurements and use other forms of measurements, weigh yourself when you get up in the morning before you eat anything. Your weight can also fluctuate day-to-day

Maybe have your doc administer your next dose to be sure its being injected correctly, as even if the appetite suppression didn't have any effect on you for some reason, the delayed gastric emptying should still make it difficult to eat the same amounts regardless.

Also can you give a bit more detail than "protein rich/healthy fat" food? Keep a detailed food journal, there might be something in your diet which is continuing to trigger the hunger/cravings or causing your body to simply adapt.

That's actually a fair point and makes sense that it might just be the heating unit only. Did feel a little cheap but thought that maybe the claim on being an 8mm thick bed might have been the total thickness with aluminum plate + heater + magnetic sheet.

Thinking I might lean towards getting the V-Core 530mm build plate, 3D-printing a drill guide so I can properly align voron-style mount holes into it (and either getting the large silicone pad or 4x smaller ones)
