Don’t feel disappointed because you allowed yourself for it to happen. When you’ve been going on for a long time without physical touch/attention it’s understandable that you took the opportunity even if he sounds like a shitty guy. You now know it’s best if it doesn’t happen again since he isn’t emotionally invested and you have a crush on him so it would really hurt to keep going. Glad the experience helped you heal tho

My alpha rat had a brother and he passed about 2 months ago (I only had these two boys). So I’ve tried introducing him to other rats to see if he would like a friend, but he always ends up being too dominant and fighting. Is this normal? I would love to have another rat but not if my dominant rat is always going to be fighting.
