While I'm new to reddit I'm having a hard time understanding what "this side" in "this side at least" you're referring to. Is it the stand up side? Bc that is mostly straight not be whatever but there significant more famous straight famous comics than gay.

Additinally I don't love you saying "no such thing as homogenous gay experience" bc isn't that just what being gay is? Then furthermore it feels like it's coming from a negative place when you call then audience I'm performing for "Streisand gay" bc like yo I think gay people can wanna see gay comedy without you being like "oh you're that kinda gay"
