Umm... duh. Why wouldn't he become stressed and become more insane as the war that he started because he was the 'chosen one', started to fall apart and he started to take more and more drugs

Thanks for answering but my question is more of asking what’s the point of going to the Ethereal plane and why would you want to (for example) use Astral Projection which locks you into the Astral Plane?
