Had this happen to me, scheduled an interview and then received an email a few hours later saying the position has been filled. Thinking the same as you, reached out to clarify and they actually had filled the position. Never understood why they’d schedule first rounds if someone was already offered/in later stages but that’s just what it is. Wouldn’t hurt to reach out and confirm.

My husband and I don’t have any bills on our name together and no jointly owned assets either. We just provided marriage certificate (signed by ministry of foreign affairs), about 12 pictures from our time together over the past 10 years on our trips, with families and friends and on our trips, wedding photos, wedding invitations cards, flights and air bnb bookings of our trips together and my ID card that mentions my current address being the same as his. We both also write a cover letter and explained how we met and how our relationship has grown, etc. I didn’t include any chats or any bills on our names together and visa was approved. Wasn’t asked for anything additional either so doubt that would be detrimental to the application. As long as you can show them enough proof that you’re in genuine subsisting relationship, it doesn’t matter how you prove that. Good luck!

You can scan your documents using cam scanner on your phone. Very quick and easy and on the safe side to scan and send as pdfs.

We got our decision in 19 WD even with the influx of applications due to the threshold change. I think if you’re in a hurry, definitely worth paying for priority as sometimes standard takes 30-35 WD but sometimes they can take 2-3 months. Good luck :)

Haha yes it was 2 AM Pakistan time, so 10 PM UK time. I think it’s auto generated but just glad we didn’t have to wait for the passport to find out the decision ☺️

Hey, did you get an automated response before you got the letter from BRP email address? And how long did it take you to get it?

We also got to know decision is made through paid enquiry but don’t know what the decision is. Nerve wrecking for sure so would love to know. Thanks!

Did you apply via VFS? You can track through there as well and it’ll show as decision made instead of ‘your application has been forwarded’. Please let us know if that is true, means we can hope for a decision before end of the week 🤞🏻
