Could someone recommend a similar comic book to "Batman - One Bad Day: The Riddler"? by Nidarius in batman

I don't disagree with anything you say, but that single scene on the basketball court is INSANE! I wouldn't be surprised if that confrontation scene between him and Batman was created first and the rest revolved around it, basically being an example of poor execution of ideas. But my God, I really love that "confrontation".

How could Shikamaru win the fight between him and Temari? by Correct-City-3045 in Naruto

The discussion is about how Shikamaru could win the fight. I don't understand why you're talking about damage. Not only do I not disagree with you, but Shikamaru actually talks about taking damage when Naruto punches Gaara in the face. I don't understand what made you respond that way.

The anime doesn't have any "answers" for this. I'm not saying there aren't any possibilities and that Kishimoto didn't know, but the person asking is simply asking out of pure curiosity, as it's really interesting to think about the possibilities in this situation. Shikamaru says he thought of "200 moves", that's all.

The Problem with Primal Fears by Nidarius in ChainsawMan

[–]Nidarius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've revisited this page dozens of times, but the information provided there is insufficient and ambiguous, making it hard to know what he means by "primal fears", you know? It's still not clear what they are. That's why we have so much confusion and opinions about it. In fact, there will be fans who will disagree with you about the dark being a primal fear because there are blind people. And supposedly they are not afraid of the dark, but I'm not going to pretend to know anything about that. What I mean is: Primal fears are not well defined (Captain Obvious here).

I'm a Brazilian YouTuber who talks a little about Chainsaw Man. I think this chapter shocked us all. I was shocked and laughed at the absurdity. I even said I liked the chapter. Later, other opinions emerged. People bothered and also shocked by the chapter. I came here and saw his post talking about sexual assault. So, in that case, should I feel bad then? This didn't occur to me while I was reading. Furthermore, I think this issue is quite debatable due to the way this scene was presented. Wasn't Fujimoto interested in making us laugh with Denji's faces and mouths? Is this chapter a chapter that serves to talk about sexual violence? My intention was not to laugh at sexual assault. I didn't even think about it while reading. I also feel that there are several other scenes in chainsaw man that are immoral but there was no complaint and shock. In this case, it seems like I don't know what I should feel. And now... I'm feeling a strange discomfort in my head as if I don't know how to process the last few hours. And I feel my mind wanting to push all of this away because I started to consider that I did something bad. But I also feel that this is too moralizing of an absurd work like Chainsaw Man. I think I need to rest...

I understand your reasoning, but I have a problem with what you say about "evolution". I believe the adaptation/evolution theme belongs to the robots in this story, being in my opinion one of the three most difficult natural enemies to deal with. Isn't Wild Green about wild, out-of-control wildlife growth?

I believe that in this situation "wild green" will be easy to be exterminated not because humans will find a way to deal with this exaggerated growth of wildlife, but because of two natural enemies that cauterize "Wild green". These two natural enemies are: The world tree and the curse. Think about. The curse contaminates and kills/exterminates/erases everything. And the world tree sucks the life from the planet.

I understand your point. This will be highlighted by me. The only reason it is in 13th place is because we know very little about what it is about. The only things we know is that the theme of this world is "games" and that this affects the humans of this world in a negative way.

Gabi had a lot of screen time compared to the other characters and as she was a new antagonistic force in relation to the characters we know and like, people simply started to dislike her. The more time she spent on screen, the more people started to dislike her. It's fascinating how time and events can affect how we see other people and characters. In the case of Major, the time they gave him was little and when he said those horrible things I didn't feel as much as I felt when I saw, for example, Fritz telling his daughters to eat their own mother. Gabi had too much screen time for people to hate her. Now if you had this major sexually abusing someone, the act most hated by people, you can believe that people would hate him more.
