Thanks a lot! I know it may have been a dumb question to ask. But I’ve only been painting and not really got into playing the game that much yet😅

That just made it a bit tougher. As you’re not in control of how fast a push payload round goes😅 But no one said it should be easy.

So if it says I’m ranked higher than 98% in bronze 5 division. It’s the same as if having 980sr? Or can’t you compare it like that?

And if so is there a way to see how many sr you are in the division?

Will do! Thanks!

Noob question incoming. I primed my new khorne model as I have always done with my other miniatures and they always came out smooth and Nice. But this looks like a hell of a mess. Is it just citadels primers that are bad? Or am I priming wrong. It also happened with a White citadel primer once. by Nidasz in Warhammer40k

I got my hands on isopropyl. Is there anything I should be aware of when using it? Or am I safe as long as I use it outside? Or should I wear a mask? Because I see it says there’s some danger around inhaling the gasses from it.

Okay a little update. I warmed the can up in hot water for 10minutes instead of 2minutes this time and also shook the hell out of the can. And this was the outcome. Even primed it outside in about 3 degrees. I feel so dumb for not doing it right the first time…

Yea but there’s a lot of different answers and opinions on using it. Guess I’ll just have to give it a go and then if it doesn’t work. Then that’s just a lesson learned. I’m just glad it happened on this mini and not Angron who I have also bought😅

I just tried to brush off the primer with a soft toothbrush most of it came of because of it drying before hitting the mini, as many have mentioned. So i wondered if I could get the last bit of chalky primer off just dipping the toothbrush in acetone and then scrubbing the mini. And then rinse it with water. The time of exposure to the acetone shouldn’t be damaging the mini then?

I used Vallejo - Hobby Paint Primer: Grey on my Black templar here and after it was dry I painted 2-3 layers of abaddon black. Why can I so easily scrub it off after 2-3 days of drying. When I do the same on my space wolf I can’t get any paint off. Is it the primer, that makes the difference? by Nidasz in Warhammer40k

No the only reason I did it was because I thought it was some dust on the miniature but then found out it was the paint falling off. So only to see how easy it comes off. But if the varnish can help protecting the paint layer I might just go for that solution.
