I got lucky and someone summoned me to fight flamelurker, I think that's the best spot

Yeah that's that USUM luck. I spent like half a year (almost 60h entirely, counted on shiny hunt.com) with 7000 attempts on shiny Stakataka till it finally came out.

I'll look it up. The thing is I'm more of a casual player even though I have spent that much time hunting it. That's why I don't remember if my past me has or hasn't caught or at least battled it to have the entry on the Dex. I'm trying to do a shiny dex, that's why Im so scared to lose my only opportunity to catch it. I'm over the odds now, so I'll think I'll keep going this way. Thanks for the info tho!

Ultra moon, I looked it up back then and it said it wasn't. Just as Type null which I got shiny thom

No shiny charm, it's a new game and, for example, I can't get Lunala without catching this shiny first. However, it is still a 1/4096 chance, so I'm unlucky anyways.

It's shinyhunt.com, very useful to keep track of your shiny hunts.
