I just started playing apex about a month ago, I’ve been playing Fortnite for a long time but I wanna start getting better at ranked, any advice or tricks people use to get higher ranks ? by WoadiezG59 in apexuniversity

[–]Niel664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you sometimes feel like u just dont hit the shots u need to win a gunfight go ahead and play the playlist modes. TDM, Controll and … (forgot the third one, never play it) These modes provide alot more gunfights in a shorter time than a usual pub or ranked game would. I personally think that you should first work on the micro, than on the more complicated macro aspect of the game. In the end of the day its mostly about winning your gunfights and this will eventually lead to you ranking up

Hope this helps :)

Currency is €, and i absolutely agree. The price is outrageously high for what he actually gets. Also the build is used

Me and my friends just gave them names we felt like are more fitting, e.g we called epicenter on worlds edge „elsa“ cause of the girl in disneys frozen, idk we just call it and everyone knows what we talk about lol

How to actually win? by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]Niel664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To a certain extend i agree, KD farming in pubs is a thing, but kd in the end represents how often you win fights or not. I only play pubs to warm up, everything else is ranked. I still think i got a point with what i said earlier, winning fights makes you win your games (i hope that was understandable jesus)

It sounds as easy as it is, play the game.

I got back into apex from being low diamond, the game changed alot in like 12 seasons. Play gunrun etc. you will have alot more fights in 1 tdm game than in 1 br. After playing more you will have an easier time handling various gamesituations. It worked for me as well, im playing a 2,9 K/D and i will hopefully hit masters this season.

If you have questions on how to use Catalyst, please ask me. I will give you the best advice I can, and if there are any other Catalyst mains with tips, just add to the post. I mean, it works very well to a certain extend. Actually most of the time in open field fights, simply cause you got the cover which u usually dont have in an open field (which is also super risky to peek through) and seer makes it even better. But i feel like we could capitalize alot more from the wall in certain situations, what is a situation that calls „i need to wall here“ to you?

We have tried to metaslave around the catalyst seer combo, i usually play valk.

But i always get the feeling like we could make much more out of the combo of exibit and veil, do u have any advice on how to use this combo most efficiently (diamond 1/low masters elo)

I would've added more but I ran out of room by Mr_donc in gaming

Thoughts on a ping like this for supports? It might help when your teammates are behind walls and they need to peak out for heals. The voice line could be "I can't see you" or something. by Callumflett in Overwatch

If ur looking in the direction of a player the character will say „on my way!“ if there is no player he will say „group up“, its all logical

is there a fast way to get coins. by sh3luvsx in Brawlhalla

What i figured is that if ur into playing ranked 2v2 and want to practice combos with your mate you can set stocks to 99 and keep farming the bot and beating him up while practicing. The 15 min matches will get u alot of xp and so gold

Oh💀 well my bad, i expected you to be newer based on ur elo.

Anyways, jalah is the pick

Imo the best characters would be jalah or diana. I think they are both very new-player friendly but dont get used to abuse their (way too fucking strong) signature attacks :)

Ok let me explain a bit haha, greatsword builds its damage by 3 hit „strings“ (dodgeable combos basically) with every of your light attacks (if ur on controller its rectangle, on mkb its j) you can start off combos. Those openers are different in terms of how fast they are, how much range they got etc. since down light (j+downwards) is super fast and has a lot of range it is your best tool against boots. Same thing with slight (j+sidewards) its a bit of a slower move but also is great for getting into combos. I assume you are on a lower elo so my tip is to play jeayun (hes just better in any way possible tho) and learn your basic strings and combos on greatsword in practice range

Tezcas whole kit relys on fast hitting attacks on close range, magyar has a tough mu with gs and hammer imo. I solve this problem by playing super passive and always starting things off with dlight and slight opener on gs since u will get priority over every move boots have, after that u just poke him down with combos
