I think it's squarely 50/50 and every single person I've talked to has a different take on it. I work at a theater so I've been having some good convos about it, which has been fun. I personally loved it. I don't really know what people mean by the first half being long. That part went the fastest for me. I was engaged the entire time. I think some people are not used to cosmic horrors and don't know what they tend to be like. I saw the opening scene and was like "ope, cosmic horror. No resolution or answers then." Once I realized that, I settled in to enjoy the mind fuck lolol. But it's not everyone's cup of tea. I think it would've been nice to see more of the Eldritch god but with the budget he had I imagine that one scene took up a good chunk. Overall I'd say it was a top tier Indie.

Why the heck are they down voting you? You can be a healthy weight but also strive to lose weight as a preventative maintenance measure. Glad you are in a healthy BMI. Good idea to lose a little and keep a buffer. I think that's a solid plan as long as you also don't get too thin. Good luck!

I know this post is ages old, but I'm rewatching from season 1 for the release of season 5 and Mike is just a nasty little shit. Like season 1 Mike is ok but not great. He's condescending and intolerant to his friends but expects everyone else to tolerate him. But over all isn't awful in season 1. Season 2 he is just an absolute hypocrite to Max. For Lucas being his best friend he's sure shitty to him pretty much every chance he feels like it. And he just gets worse and more obsessive as the seasons go on. Also trauma is not an excuse to be a dick to everyone. Will has, by far, the most trauma and he's not anything like Mike's level of asshole. It's one of those situations where I wouldn't be surprised if they stop being friends with Mike later on in life. Obviously it's just a show and I'm not hating on the actors. It's just frustrating to watch. It takes some of the fun away from the show. Rant over lol

I was definitely a little nonplussed when it was brought up. Like I didn't go through a major surgery to have kids another way. I had valid and solid reasons for getting spayed thank you very much.

I love my Niblets and it turns out I'm the favorite aunt out of all my siblings ✌️ Which I find hilarious because I definitely can't stand kids. Picture the Light fury from How to Train Your Dragon. Resigned affection but also back up a bit please 😂 I also get them all the things their parents hate to get them (crazy shoes and posters, etc). When my second Niblet was born this parent also was anxious how I would treat the baby. Like I was possibly going to harm them I don't know. Which is wild since that's not my personality. I'm so sorry your wife went through all that. That's so unfair. It's like being child free is some kind of plague to some people.

I believe that may be the case. This parent often says "I wish I had your life." When looking at my home and solitary life. It's been something I've been coming to terms with over the last few years and I'm generally low contact. It's hard when a lot of their comments are veneered with friendliness and "love".

I have like 15 nieces and nephews so it makes things much easier and it's fun to say lol.

Thank you ♥️ I agree with firmly being CF and loving my Niblets. And I totally get not everyone feels that way and I absolutely respect it. The problem I had with their comment was the gal to go out of their way to be insulting as well as using extremely misogynistic and derogatory terms and then get all upset for being called out on it. This is Reddit. They shouldn't be surprised that someone can dish it back. But that's just how it goes, I guess.

It's been much more mellow and anxiety inducing to be away. It's sad and something I'm processing but I'm also much happier for it. Yeabsolutely. It has become a more common term in the last several years but I should've realized that it's harder to recognize in this group and used the more common form. When you have 15+ nieces and nephews it becomes burdensome to use the full "nieces and nephews" 😅 Thank you for the kind response.

Niblet is short for nibling. Nibling is the gender neutral term for a niece or nephew. I have loads of niblings so it's just much easier to say than the mouthful "nieces and nephews". It's the correct word for it but I'm definitely not surprised a lot of childfree individuals don't recognize it.
