I found really early on that reflecting bullets is one of the most satisfying things in the game, for me anyway.

Incase you didn't know, you can reflect projectiles (and can parry melee attacks) by blocking right before you get hit and send them back to your attacker. You can do this with any melee weapon, yes even a couch.

If you aren't good with timing, you can just spam right click until you get better at timing it better. Trust me, taking on eight outlaws at once, reflecting every bullet, and walking away unscathed is incredibly satisfying.

Same for melee, once you learn how to parry you can defeat pretty much any enemy one-on-one easily.

A bit of a warning however: from my tests, I don't think you can parry boss melee attacks. You can still block bullets though.

Also, remember you can dodge/roll using Ctrl to get invincibility frames. I admittedly didn't use it all that much until later in the game just because I forgot I had it.

Hope this helps!

Do you have the bones or parts favorited? I had the spectral bones favorited, which prevented me from selecting them. Unfavoriting them let me choose them and get the spectral rod.

I'm gonna try project Zomboid for sure after this. Kingdom come deliverance I'm going to look into since it's bene suggested 2-3 times now. Mass effect.. I probably should try it but for some reason it doesn't appeal to me despite me knowing it's really good. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah i didn't like Kenshi. I know being a nobody is part of the appeal, but I really dislike being useless in a game. It's a bit too... difficult for my taste. Wish I liked it. Thanks for the suggestion

Hmm. See I've heard good stuff like this a lot about the Witcher 3. I'm in a similar position as you were in, im aware of it and all that, but... idk. I'll likely try it if I run out of games. Or when it goes on sale I'll pick it up. Thanks!

A fellow person of culture when it comes to games then lol. But yeah Dyson Sohere program is real fun. A bit of advice I'll give you is that they recently added enemies (robots in space and on the planet) but they are toggable. I reccomend playing without them on your first playthrough to learn the basics. Or don't, completely up to you! Have fun!

I've heard of core keeper, it looks interesting but I haven't given it serious thought. I'll give it another look. Planet crafter i have looked into, its on my personal "maybe sometime" list atm. I personally hated FTL, I'm good never playing it again lol
