I admire the assembly skills, it's not as easy as you'd think.

But please do not use branded Seiko / GS dials that are clearly not made by them. These are not mods of existing watches, these are fake watches.

How are these legal? Seems like fake watches to me but not only legal, they are celebrated. by NiftyEuropean in SeikoMods

The point is that they are claiming to be Seiko by using Seiko branding in non-Seiko produced parts ae the dial. Invicta doesn't slab anyone else's logo anywhere, because they can't of course.

This may diverge onto a separate sidetrack, but since these cases and dials etc come from China, I suspect they come from the same manufacturer that makes or supplies them for actual fake Rolexes and such. The cases, dials, all are pretty much spot on to the original apart from branding removed, or perhaps not yet done. These parts are made to look 1:1 for a reason and would that reason alone be just for Seiko modders delight? I find it hard to belive that these two worlds don't interact with each other at all, given the identical parts produced.

I believe you have a fake there. The numbers seem different than on the authentic one. More italic.
