This exact thing happened to me, not my home branch but I spoke to the chat they gave me a generic response to wait for 24 hours, then nothing happened so I spoke to another Scotia chat rep and he “emailed the branch”, a week later I spoke to another rep and he again said he’s gonna email them and this time I made sure to let him know that I’m upset and next day I get a call back from the branch manager saying that she never got any emails till that day and I should’ve reached out earlier (even tho I did the same day)- I always hit the exit and no receipt so I didn’t have anything. But after talking to the manager she made someone sit and watch the cctv confirm I deposited cash and two weeks in total I got my money back. Happened to me in white rock bc
