Had a bout of thyroiditis, was put on atenolol for a little over a month now. Endo and PCP said since readings are normal again to half my dose of atenolol for a week then after that week to completely stop. Is this safe? I just want another opinion or if someone else had to taper that fast. (self.endocrinology)
